Can anyone give me some info about a nitrous setup for the busa. I am curious and thinking about trying to get some juice, what kind of cost and other parts will I have to obtain to get it runnin? also what are some good sites to find it

Not a pro but i think you can get a 40hp dry setup for around 800 bucks or check sh.org cause they always have shid for sale

actually no engine mods need to be done. Some say the stock motor is good for a 60 shot

Schnitz has a 40 hp shot dry nitrous setup for $395.95. It has everything you need, including instructions. Simple installation.

I have a NX kit that was on the bike for a couple of weeks. 40 shot and it was cool, I had it on a full throttle switch with a Schnitz controller. It kicked in very smooth and controllable. I think the controller was 230 and the kit was around 400-450.

Up to 60 shot for a stock motor. I've thought about it myself, but haven't been able to bring myself to do it.

I think you'd really enjoy it. I've got a 50 hp shot on my ZX12 and I love it. I have mine wired into the horn button. It works like a charm. For the price you pay for a kit, nitrous is pretty cheap horsepower. Where else can you get 40-60 hp for under $400.

wet = fuel AND nitrous go into the engine

dry = just nitrous

imo, ill always do wet.. JUST incase something goes wrong there will always b fuel.. and u dont go lean.. and ngien doesnt go boom.

Wet shoots directly into the motor. More complicated setup. Dry shoots into the airbox. One of the good things about the infamous frame on the ZX12 is that it's part of the airbox (terrible for turbocharging) and it's easy to put a dry nitrous system on it. Drill a hole into the top of the airbox and put in the nozzle. When the nitrous is going into the airbox, the temp. sensor reads the cold from the nitrous and adds fuel. Some people put a pc on their bikes to add more fuel. I've had nitrous on my bike for 3 years now, no power commander, and it works great.

PM'ed you Rich!
