If you really want to go cruizer? I am vvery happy with my VTX1300 as a stable mate to my Busa.

screw luck $7500 sounds good.

remember, regardless of the new model these bikes are legendary.

I have a Kawi Nomad 1600.  I love it.  It's no rocket but it's got decent power.  Great torque and no matter what anyone says, I love the feel of the v-twin at speed bellowing through the Vance and Hines pipes.  It's great.....it's not always about winding up an I4 to 100mph for me.

Plus the Nomad is comfortable as hell and standard locking saddlebags rock.

Sadly I'm contemplating the same thing- a friend just got an M109R this week, and I really liked the look of it.

I've seen so many people buy into the Harley thing and so many others buy into the cruiser thing and I've then seen so many ad boards flooded with overpriced cruisers... Is it that for their first bike they wanted a cruiser then decided that it was boring, heavy and drifted in turns or did they test ride a sportbike and said "yah me want"...

I really wish I had the cash. I love that color. I was actually looking one before I bought my Gixxer.

Heck yea. My 1500 Nomad is a great road bike. Busa for me, the Nomad for when the wife and I go. Can't beat them for comfort and the V&H pipes sound great..........

Nice bike. I'd start at more than 7500 and you can let them talk you down a bit. Then they get a deal and you get your money. Did you check the papers and look at pricing? So, r u just wanting a change or what?

just a change, my brother has a busa so i guess if i get the need for speed i can take his out, lol. ya iam thinking of asking more then 7500, or turn it back to stock and have a bunch of parts for sale for you guys

.........theres a dealer around here that moves bikes pretty good, so might see what they will give me for a trade-in stock, then sell parts, unless someone buys it the way it is. been looking at the 109 on the website, look good but i have to go sit on one first

keep the busa baby. i cruze on mine with a parking lot full of harleys on bike nites. you don't always have to hit the speed limiter- just cruze. you can do it.

Where are you located ?

I have a 109 and am keeping it (124 hp yee haaa !!!) but am looking for a used Busa also. I am in Orlando Fla and am looking for one in Florida.

Thats my buddy on the Busa in this pic.

By the way, 109 is really a solo cruiser in my opinion as opposed to a two up cruiser like a Vulcan.

Can't say I'm shocked to see some upset about the idea of switching to a cruiser... talk about night & day. I also thought... why would you even ask that on a Busa forum... must want the punishment.

Here's what you do. Park your bike at a friends house that isn't too close to you. Then go without a bike for a couple weeks. All of a sudden the Busa will be that bike you wanted when you first bought it.

I'm going on 3 months off of my Busa and have almost forgot what it's like to ride it.
