we are in for a heat wave over the next 36 hours then back to more snowy weather.. cold yes... beautiful? absolutely.. I lived most of my life in AZ and the southwest.. 2 seasons at best , really hot or maybe below freezing.. I got a few years in the mountains where it was a bit opposite of that.. snow on the ground 5 months of the year an beautiful summers in the 70's..

Finally got chains on the F-250. Dad-in-laws truck we are borrowing. It is taking chains and 4 wheel drive to get around safely. They are now requiring chains no matter what you drive, they have shut down the interstate going east since saturday (no time frame on the reopening yet) and there are over 100 stranded truckers waiting on the road to open. My city has declared a state of emergency because they cannot plow the roads fast enough to keep up. They are literally running plows in front of the ambulances so they can get to people.

It's a bit crazy, but if people would just stay in and only go out when it's necessary it would be fine.
