You mean like 100hp over 150 and not just over 150 ... right? I mean, don't they come out the box at around 125 - 130?
 
I don't care if there is a Busa in there or not!

That is one awesome garage! I do think that it would have been better with a Busa but it is still the most awesome garage I have ever seen!
 
He's from Texas, and yes he's livin' the dream. Travels around and just does track days for a livin'. Bought his 06 R1le and most of his Hondas from our dealerships.....

What a LIFE!!!!!

BTW- Rumor is the Repsol recently went down the last day of track day.....Not sure how bad it was, but I'm sure it will be like new shortly..

A stock RC51 will make around 115-120 hp at the rear wheel. With a full system and derestricted it will make around 130 hp at the rear wheel. You need cams, balanced and blueprinted rotating assembly, ported and polish heads, higher compression pistons and more to make 150 hp at the rear wheel of a RC51. The $50K isn't just in the motor, the bike has full Ohlins suspension, Marchesini mag wheels, Brembo brakes, full CARBON FIBER bodywork and gastank as well as every nut and bolt is Titanium. You would make a mess of yourself to see the bike in person, let alone tearing up the track.

Believe me, I tried to talk him into building a Busa, but he wasn't convinced. I will try again next March when I bring my busa to Jennings and let him see what a roadrace busa is all about.

Rumor is confirmed, he lowsided it on the last day. By now it is just as mint as it ever was and probably even more trick parts than before.
