Interesting thread. I think people allow their internet feelings to be hurt all too frequently. Of course, boards such as this are not democracies in any way, shape or form and board owners/moderators express differing degrees of acceptance of other people's input. Differing responses to people who post offensive crap. It's neither good nor bad in and of itself.

Too bad we don't have Thrash on here any more but for what it's worth, that's for Cap and Thrash to work out. Myself? I'm certainly not offended because they have had a falling out. Frankly, I see both sides of that issue and I see why both people were offended, both justifiably. And yet, despite the loss of a good member, the disappointment is not enough to get MY panties in a twist!

I'll save that for a time when *I* get socked in the jaw and deal with it then.

FWIW, there IS a nude pic of a girlfriend on here, even as I type. While I have no problem whatsoever with porn and neither does my wife, it IS distracting to come here looking for bike info, either intentionally and serendipitously and have to scroll past a load of crap photos that have nothing to do with what I'm looking for.

This is one of the best boards I've ever been on because it stays focused and it's easy to know what you're getting into because threads don't get hijacked every time you turn around. All the more reason to love it.

Sorry to hear about this. Thrasherfox was a big supporter of me and my daughter while we were going though her illness. We'll miss him.

That said, I have to applaud you, Cap, for sticking to your guns. It takes a lot of time and energy to keep up with what's going on with the site. You've got to call 'em as you see 'em.

Personally, my attraction to the site has grown because of the maturity of the members. There are many bike-related sites that I can go to to read trash and see porn, but I like this one because of Cap's high standards.

Ok, I had no desire to post on here again. But at this time I feel I have no choice because I am starting to be labeled as something I am not. here are the facts folks. and some of you apparently are blindly following the group without knowing all the facts.

First issue. read the original thread in question. I apologized, I edited my own posts and if I would have known Doug was the one who removed the pciture and it was serious there is no way I would have ever reposted anything Doug removed, even if it was picture of a fricken white rabbit eating grass in a field.. Get my point people. I did not intentionally disrespect this board OR Doug. it was a fricken accident which I apologized for.

Second. I do NOT….. AND READ MY LIPS…. I DO NOT POST PICTURES OF NUDE WOMEN ANYWHERE!!

This was not a nude picture that was posted. If she stood straight up and stared at you in the face you would not see anything you don't see on a beach in Florida or California or anywhere else. If any of you want to see the picture for yourself to make your own decision, give me an email address you wont mind me sending it to and I will email it to you.

You all keep going back to "Good job Doug for keeping the board clean" like He needed to handle it the way he did. I apologized already people, and I did not apologize because I posted anything that I thought was out of line, because it was not anything worse than that other people have posted. I apologized because whether I thought there was anything right or wrong is irrelevant, I apologized because I offended someone, namely Doug. And when I offend someone unknowingly I am man enough to admit it and apologize

Doug's main problem is it was the wrong day, wrong time and the certain picture that was posted did not set right with him at that time and moment. I swear it is nothing worse than has been displayed on other threads. The problem was Doug just replaced the picture with another picture and there was no other comments made, no way to tell who did it. So I thought it was a mod screwing around with Tinman and I thought I would poke at one of the mods (thinking it was maybe Rev or NE), thought I had been around long enough to give one of them a hard time without getting all pissed off. Maybe tell me to quit bgeing a jerk or something.

Obviously not, ok that’s cool, Doug can chew on my but, I screwed up, I apologized for it. And I am good with the way Doug handled, it, I don’t give a rats you know what EXCEPT for the part where he drug my wife into it,.

GET IT STRAIGHT PEOPLE… DOUG MADE AN OFFENSIVE COMMENT IN REGARDS TO MY WIFE OF 17 YEARS. THAT AINT COOL AND IT WAS UNCALLED FOR.

So, to summarize, I apologized even though I did not post anything worse than anyone else has.

Doug has too much pride to admit when he has done something wrong and he can't even see he has done something wrong.

So do me a favor everyone. If you are going to side with Doug, at least listen to all the facts. And second, if you agree it is ok that Doug made what I consider an offensive comment in regards to my wife then your opinion really doesn’t matter to me.

So I would appreciate it if you would all just let this Die. Doug is Doug. I am to the point where an apology really isn’t going to matter. I really don’t care. You cant make someone apologize and I don’t want Doug's apology unless he means it. And he would never mean it. that’s cool, that is Doug I don’t hold that against him. A lot of people are that way

What I don’t want is this stinking rumor mill to get going where people who don’t even know me and know nothing about the truth in this matter are gong to label me as some screwed up individual. I am not, stuff just happened, got blown out of proportion and it is just time for me to move on. End of story.

One last parting shot, read my lips IT WAS NOT PORNOGRAPHY, IT WAS NOT A NUDE PIC.

THE HONOR OF MY WIFE IS AND WAS AT STAKE.

AND RSD you don’t owe me anything. Never felt you did, don’t now. And if you a referring to a comment I made a few months back I remember jokingly digging on you but I was joking. Just making a statement I didn’t realize the cost of calls to Canada, it blew my mind if a funny way. It’s all good RSD.. no worries.


And for the record, I have less to apologize for than Doug does.

My offense towards the board was unintentional and I corrected it as soon as I was made aware I had offended.,

Doug's offense towards me and my wife was purposeful. and even when he has been told he has offended my wife and I, he will not acknowledge it. He keeps going back to the picture which is not the point, Even if it were a NUDE pic, there was not call to bring my wife into it. And he has not acknowledge his comments that I find offensive nor can he justify his comments because there is no justification for making the comments he did about someone who is sweet and caring and he knows nothing about them. I.E. my wife.

You are STILL a huge part of the board man. You are part of the family, you ain't going anywhere bro. Take a week off, cool off, I understand why you are upset. As I said earlier, I wouldn't be happy if I were in your situation either.
Maybe Cap will apologize, maybe he wont. Either way, you are still a member, nobody is kicking you out or asking you to leave.

Sometimes the family fights, but we all end up getting along and making it right in the end. I beleive the same will happen in this situation. We just have to keep our cool and it will sort itself out.

Please keep this in mind.

Clearly states not to post any material obscene, profane, SEXUALLY ORIENTED. That picture and the pictures that followed definitely fell in the sexually oriented class. After Cap removed the pics they were edited, readded, and then even more pics added.

If you also must know, it was me that complained to Cap about the pics. I don't come to a motorcycle specific site to look at pics of women. Everyone knows that there are thousands of sites just for that, so let's leave it off of this board.

What else do I want? Nothing. Never wanted anything. Never intended for anyone to get banned and TF to quit coming. But remember that they were the ones that kept posting the pics after Cap. removed them. Maybe Cap. should of gave a type of warning; and maybe he shouldn't of; his board, his rules.

I never read the thread in question but Im sure there was a good reason it was edited. If there was something said about Fox`s wife, that was just wrong in my book. You never say anything about family. Thats just a line you should never cross.

I hope that Cap and Fox can get back on the good side of each other. Would hate to see Fox leave for ever.
