I just took the TRE off of my 04 busa and now all I have on it is a PC3 with everything else stock, Not only did I not notice a difference in how the bike runs, but I went from average 38 MPG to 46 without changeing riding style. I really didnt feel a difference with it on or off. I think really people just mentally think that they feel a gain. (its a way of your mind not letting you think that you got ripped off). I felt the same way when I got mine, but after riding with it on for 3 months with it on and then taking it off, there is no difference to me, although when it was installed and i pulled throttle back fast in nuetral, it would stumble for a split second, It no longer does that with TRE off. It is as smmoth as can be and instant without the stumble. To me the TRE was a waste of $70 so i'm selling it to a freind for $50. He insist on haveing one.
