ticking noise

Got all done with winter mods and took her out for a ride and tick tick. It ticks louder as i rev. There is a certain rpm where i dont hear it around 4K and sometimes in the upper band i can hear it. I think this happend after changing oil. The other only thing i can thing of is the exhaust. I put a full exhaust on but i did not feel anything comming out of the head. Any suggestions.

Are all exhaust bolts tight? Had the same problem with a tick or tap sound on a full exhaust the bolts were not tight enough.

i think im going to go back over the bike and prolly pull the exhaust off and start it up. i think that would tell me if its the exhaust or not.

That would be the alarm system...as the rpms rev to a certain point, the bike will disintegrate! Similar to the 007 Aston Martin Vantage system.

be careful about doing multiple things to your vehicle before starting it and driving it, you will only make it harder to find out what the cause of a problem is if it acts up.
