TiForce 4-2-1-2 Carbon

Thanks for all the positive feed back

Tomorrow I'll weigh the stock system just for the record. I didn't weigh the TiForce, because I was so eager to get it on. The box was 19.5 lbs.

Pipes look great. I have Akropovic systems on my GSXR 600 and GSXR 1000 and love the quality and sound. BTW, your brindle bull dog is BADASS! I have 2 bulldogs and love them to death. I really want to dye my white male brindle, but the GF won't let me.
Thanks for the compliment on my Bully. His name is Tugboat, he loves to hang out where ever I am.

My Avatar is my Rottweiler, he died last year January 4, 2007.

Tugboat has a serious tongue on him.

I'll bet he is popular with the lady canines in his neighborhood.

Your TiForce kit is awesome, Sewman. The carbon fiber looks a bit lighter than the Yosh.

What made you decide on the shorter units, vice the 480mm canisters? Just personal preference?

His nickname is Tuggy 5 legs...

I chose the 380 becuase I thought they looked better. As you sais, just personal preferance.

I just weighed the stock exhaust system = 46lbs. -
I didn't weigh the Tiforce, but the shipping paper work said 19.5 lbs, I just weighed the box and shipping materials - 5lbs.

So it looks like the TiForce ia around 14.5 lbs. Though I read somewhere is was 12.5. - So at least 31.5 lbs lighter.

Unfortunately I did not have the bike dynoed at the same place. Long story as to why.

Before the Tiforce the bike pulled right at 169..
With the new system on, but on a different dyno today, = 187..

I know it is dangerous to compare dyno numbers like that so take it with a grain of salt.

What I will say though, they compared the numbers I pulled today with some ZX-14's. One particular case, the 14 had a full system, air cleaner, PC-III and tuning. My busa pulled better numbers across the range. Only 1 or 2 peak more. And has not been tuned yet..

The reccomendation is that I put an air cleaner in and bring it back for tuning.

Since this shop did not do any work on this bike yet, I wouldn't think they were trying make my numbers higher then they are.

Sweet numbers with no mapping, expect 4-6 HP more properly mapped and even more with some U4 or MR9 fuel

I just sold the very first new Ti-Force Sumo (Race Version) for a 2008 today. We are also installing a Pipercross filter and a PCIII, I should be mapping it next week and will report with numbers and pictures.
