What is the common term for tire wear on track bikes (the twisty kind). Is it orange peel?

I have heard and seen that a properly air'd up tire should have an orange peel texture when performing well at a track.

I just wanted to know what the slang term was for the deterioration of the tire. Two brothers said "orange peel"...... is that the most common term used to describe this phenomenon? Thanks.
Orange peel is a painters term. They call them boogers / tire boogers
