I got 7,000 miles out of my OE Bridgestones - had maybe 1,000 left on the rear and a lot more on the front. But the rear just felt "greasy" exiting corners and the front, with that straight center groove, loved to follow grooved pavement. I had RoadAttacks installed and like them a lot more. They made a very noticeable improvement in the handling - more responsive and turn in to corners a lot quicker - and with a little over 2,000 miles on them, they appear to be wearing well. My son also put them on his R6 and noticed a handling improvement over the Dunlop 208s he took off.
One important thing that a rep from Continental advised me of is to keep 42 PSI in them. Believe it or not, that really makes a difference!
One of the cycle magazines recently did a sportbike tire comparison test and didn't like the Contis but I sure do! I guess they don't have a "racy" enough name.
