Tires and more tires

I got 8,000 on my oem's, not many twisties at all. Mostly commute to work and some 200-300 highway days. A local shop hooked me up on some Attacks for $125/ea and said if I didnt get comparable wear from them he'd give me next set of my choice for the same $125/ea. He said if it doesnt say Pirrelli, Bridgestone, Michellin or Pilot then nobody wants them. A sort of promotional hookup I guess. The flip side is if they do perform I have to have Continental Branded on my right Bicep! I only have about 200 mls on the Attack.
+1 over 9k on the OEMs

Running M1s now. I love the performance and handling but I'm not sure about the wear yet.

Depending on how they hang around, I may stick with them or go back to OEM

I love the Metzlers. They were on the bike when I bought it in March. I had to replace soon after and now have 4K on them and I can't ride this winter.

Here is a quick tire review from my experience.
Race tires:
Michelin Pilot race S2 damn good tire. No complaints
Michelin Pilot race M2 ditto
Michelin pilot race H2 ditto
Dunlop 208 GP Hated it. Also developed a heavy headshake with these tires, could have been adjusted out, but they gave me no confidence.
Pirrelli Dragon Super Corsa's Sc2/Sc3 AWESOME My all time favorite tire, stick like glue and slide so smoothly. Much confidence.
Michelin Pilot Race soft/PR5 seem better than the super corsas, but I still have more confidence in the super corsas.
Michelin 1200/1800 slicks, I have yet you get them on the track

Street tires:
Dunlop sportmax D207ZR These tires are made of wood. Burn them
Bridgestone Battax's that come on the busa Better than D207 But i have no confidence in them.
Michelin Pilot Sport. I loved these tires, great grip, but they are ancient technology now. Still better than the above.
Dunlop 218's Awesome street tire, but feel like crap on the track.

I recomend Pirrelli Diablo's or diablo Corsas.

Hope that helps someone somewhere.!
