Tires, buy online or locally?

Do you think its better or cheaper to buy tires online or locally?

Personally, I buy my tires online because I can always get better pricing than going into a local tire store. Yea you have to wait a bit longer but if your wanting to save the extra buck, go for it.

I was going to buy tires on line but had the dealer match the price and they mounted the tires for $20 each.

That is a great deal everyone around here avoids the dealer for tires, they charge about 45-50.00 over the internet price for the tire and charge you 45 to mount each when you buy the tire from them. 100 a tire if you bring someone else s tire. Basically "If you didn't buy it here get out of here please and so most people have.

Tires is extremely competitive business. Change them yourself.

Lower than my dealer cost. Great deal. Got a tire bead breaker from Harbor Freight and several tire tires.

Mount them myself. And use the dyna-beads to balance them.

Gotta swap this one out today or tomorrow.
