Thanks guys, I will head online now. The story is wicked now, but it hurt my heart watching it unfold. Time really does slow down when you are witnessing crazy crap. Even now he can't fully explain to me why he kept heading towards the truck or more so, why he did not apply the brakes...firmly. Not saying he would have died if the tail gate had been there, but with no helmet, he would have been very, very unhappy. Furthermore my truck is a 2wd dually, they sit lower than the 4x4's, all the more reason why he flew over the bed instead of slamming into where the lower part of the bed on a taller truck would have been.
