better the 750 than the busa. never let anyone ride your baby. i had a friend get pretty offended because i told him no, but its just not worth the risk.
Sorry to see that damage, but I'm glad your cousin's okay...
I tell people no all of the time because I know that they won't pay for the damage if they drop it...those that can afford to fix or replace my Busa can ride...
I've had my Harley for sale for many months now (no takers...market's flooded with the damn things!)...my neighbor wanted to take it for a spin, said he'd ridden sport bikes for years (years ago)...he hopped on and made it about 2 feet before he dumped it in the gravel driveway, breaking lights and the side mirror, chipping the previously flawless front fender and scratching my exhaust...all in all, it was about $400 in damage to parts, and my husband had to take time out of his schedule to fix it so we wouldn't have to charge the guy to have a shop do it...
Best to only let those that know how to ride and ride well even sit on your bikes! I learned that the hard way, but thank goodness it wasn't my Busa!
Hmmmmmmm. I'm just as guilty on the no helmet thing. I wasn't wearing one either. I have 3 helmets, but only wear it when I know I'm going to be playing, or it's cold out.......................
I know, I know, I've read the posts, and heard the preaching and I know it's a very bad habit. Spent the money for the gear, should wear it, but don't. Truth be told (though it's no excuse) you see very few helmets here in OHIO. Suppose I'd be better off in a state were helmets were law.
