to run or not

in 3 hours i am going to appear in court as witness for buddy that ran when he seen red lights in his mirror . Last September . The Busa was left alone that day police don't like R1's . I guess may have been the color my silver/grey 03 busa does not seem to enrage them as much as red /white R1's The outcome of this may just slow a person down ..................for awhile .

well trial was postponed till april 16th.. as to how he got caught ...bad break left secondary hiway pulled onto 4 lane and there were 4 other cruisers within miles of the on ramp ...he was beat before he started ....something to remember if your gonna run no matter how fast you are bad luck is just bad luck.

lesson is you get off the hwy s not on them! first thing is too have some luck. second is to help yourself and get to some back roads.even on unfamiliar roads. and dont panic but RIDEHARD.but yes you do need some luck.it can be fun under right circumstances.!! reason for edit spelling the dam word circumstances!!

Before you run, decide if a simple speeding ticket(if you weren't doing 150mph) is better than jail. Just depends on circumstances. I'll pay a 95mph in a 75mph anyday of the week over running. You might get a break anyway.

we have new law in Alberta 51 klm an hour over limit (30mph).is considered Dangerous driving this offense comes with 1 year license suspention and 1000.00 fine for first offence... dangerous driving call is up to officer . They have a problem with sport bikes and no one that drives cars are crying to loudly because they have been until now left alone... Heard of driver in Car getting same ticket last week for 54 klm over . with all the bikes parked for winter they have to target new group...When the general public starts having to walk law may change

I have ran but, I do not recommend it. The only time I have been pulled on the busa was waiting on a light to change(I was sitting still). He said someone came by at over 100mph, I told him it wasn't me and he left.

In my younger years ive done it a few times ,"young and dumb". But now i think id pay the ticket. I have to much to lose now. It is a rush though better than any amusement park...

I should add though. When you get caught its not so great. Three years i lost my license and a 2500.00 dollar fine and 90 days in jail.. that was not fun

I agree with Cache...It's hard to out run a radio...It's only one runner and no telling how many officers on duty...The best case scenario if you run is that if you don't get away you get caught...The worst is that you get caught because you wrecked...There's alot to weigh when making that decision...I'll pull over and ask for professional courtesy...

There is a lot of risk involed. I lived so many years flying out of instinct and it has been a hard habit to break. I still get that little shot of adrenaline when I see blue lights but, I don't run. LOL!
