Tobin Seats

Seat has not arrived, wanted it for Laguna, will just have to ride on the stock one,

Tobin seat arrived the afternoon that I left for Laguna, had the wife ship it the hotel in Laguna for the ride home. Came out great, very comfortable, only difference that I notice was it was a little bit wider took a bit to get use to. I will see if I can narrow it up somehow. I'm a small guy so anyone taller than 5'10 or so most likely wouldn't notice any difference.

anyone else having "issues" with the cover material on their tobins?
At 300.00+ and just a month or two old, I am starting to be not very pleased, but I am going to contact Tobin before I go further.
just curious to know if about others as well.
Pictures will follow.

Are taller guys using these with good results? I finally saw them first hand and am thinking I may just have to have them. I'm concerned with the lower seating position being 6'4". Thighs fit nicely into tank cut, but legs seemed a bit more crunched. Then again my inseam is longer then the person they were made for.
Any insight?
Thanks in Advance.

Mine is holding up well, but I got black stitching on gloss black leather. Been ridin' on 'em for about 1000 miles with no problems.

I'm about to order one with red stiching . I ride everyday (about 400 miles a week )!

I relly like the seat Tobin makes.Unfortunatelly I have no luck to get in touch with the guy.Would be that I'm from Canada?

Any Canadians here have the Tobin's seats?

I've had mine about two years and 9,200 miles. They are the dull black with orange-ish stitching and they're holding up very well. I didn't check what's on the contact links on here for Tobin, but I have two telephone numbers for him - (717) 792-3708 and a CEL number of (717) 424-4037. If those of you trying to reach him haven't already tried them, they might be worth a shot.

The reason they feel wider is because the hump-like shape of the padding has been cut down, making them less "round" in profile - the seat base is the same width it always was. And you only notice that slight pressure against your upper thighs when stopped with your feet on the ground.

I think they're a great improvement that, along with slightly elevated bars and lower pegs, make the Busa so much more comfortable, especially on longer rides.

I just got a seat off ebay to send to Tobin to get hooked up.

I'm leaning towards getting the black on black stitching, but the blue does look nice. Is it a direct match for the bike color?

Also, does anyone have that zipper back rest? I wonder how well that works

Zuk- the blue that Tobin is using is really close as far as I can tell. Matches well.
