Also the rear roll seems a bit wide front to back... Kinda leaves my "Boys" with nowhere to go...

I think this is why Tobin askes for your waist size when you order from him.  He adjusts the width of the roll for each person.  If Bullet Train is a different size than you are - that is probably why the seat doesn't fit you "just right".......
Does look good on your scooter though!!

I think your right, though given the width and height of BulletTrain...  There should be plenty of room for me...

I am going to give it about another week and see if it "GETS" comfortable.  Right now I am not really feeling it.  In Fact I am considering just shaving my Stock seat down a bit and recovering it.

First though I am going to contact Tobin and see about re-forming the rear "roll" for me a bit.  I need prolly about an inch taken out of it to put me where I feel comfortable.  I really like the seating height, but it forces me into the gastank too much.  

Big Jim and the Twins, were doing some complaining after just a few hours in the seat Sunday.  This is nothing against Tobin the seat is just as it should be, but maybe not perfect for me.

Normally a week (10 days at the most) unless you upgrade the shipping.

I sent Tobin my seat along with money and a note what I was wanting the seat to look like. He emailed and called me to confirm and I should have mine soon. The seat mounts same as the stock. The underside of the seat is the same one you send him.

10 is managable. Just wait till weather real crappy and send it off. And if possible do the back seat first. Since it dont get used that much.

No extra charge for colored thread it is included in the charge for emblems/logos/stitching. The anniversary organge color is a pretty good match if that's the one you want to go with.

And my youngest of three future pilots.......At 5yrs old he is already twistin a XR80   you just gotta hold him till he drops the clutch and catch him when he comes back......A little short still.............  LOLLOL

Sorry for not replying earlier, but lost track of this thread. The mirrors in the pic are a set of EMGO carbon fiber mirrors that I got off eBay. No real change to the rearward visibility, but do offer a different and better look, IMO. Working on something else now, though. I'll see if I have some other pics of them on the bike.
