Tobins or Top Gun?

Rev, It's probably not you. I find myself jammed up against the tank @ all times except when gassin it. It is the most comfortable position for me. I'm 5' 11".OK You can mount your park bench but I am leading when it comes time to lane split...you uh...prolly wont be getting to far....
As for the Tobin holding one right where they want to be?If yer' Nuts up against the tank is where your happy...then by all means. Actually Mikey, I have just the opposite problem, I am all the way back against the hump, it's when I hit the hooks that I slide foreward...I want something that would provide my boys some tenderness once in awhile...I want a dished Saddle, with a nice uh..."Package relief area" cut out of the middle....Help keep things happy down there...
Or is that just me?
Maybe a natural reaction from trying to climb out on the fender to keep the front down!
Seriously, that is where I find myself on my dirtbike also. As for the luggage issue, I don't want anymore kids anyway.
Mickey D....lets face it. For draggin the Tobin looks good...but the real attraction...if you get to the heart of it....is those schweet looking Kangii logo on the Tobin Seats plus the possibility of putting your own name or phrase on the seat..like the bike shown....ELASTICITY. Take the llogos off and more folks would go for the gun or the Corbin.
I guess my vote is TOBIN.....we all love our hayabusa logos. We'd put em on everything if we could!!!!

I was actually thinking of getting the seats baren, no logos, though those symbols sure do look good!
Bullet has me worried. No answering messages? That might solve the problem for me.

Consider this everyone. Tobin does these seats on the side. This is not his primary job, also consider that he is not on the internet as much as we are. Also he does great work, but everyone does not respond as quickly as we would like. This goes back to the earlier point. He is not on internet as much as us. HEre is his cell # give him a call.

Whoa, wait a minute. He has answered all of my messages except for the last one, which was only sent today. He just hasn't given me a solid answer on ONE of my questions yet. While it is a bit frustrating at this point I didn't really mean to cast doubt on his character or how he does business. I guess I was just venting a little of the anxiety I have built up in anticipation of getting the seats. Did I mention that I have ABSOLUTELY ZERO patience when I want something?
At this point I'm still in the benefit of a doubt stage with this whole thing. I figure he's just busy and will get around to me when he can. That's not how I'd like it but that's how it goes sometimes. With all the good feedback I've seen about him and his work I want to believe that I have just caught him at a bad time. Hopefully he and I can get things squared away soon and I can get a Tobin on Da 'Train.

I like the TOBIN seat but I aint no small dude. Im not sure Id fit to well in one. I like to kick back and sit on one cheak when cruisin so not so sure for me. I really liked the seat more when I saw that grey two tone look. Man Im waitin to see if there is a two tone blue/silver or blue black for the 02 bikes. Now thats real schlick.

I want one of those Tobin's!! The back seat seat too!! Undertails are nice but extended tails are better!! Go with the seats.

I agree Tbone! Must decide which is first.top gun.....the stock butt is just too busy....or at least cut down the fender like BT did.I think the top gun is my favorite mod

Ok, now the whole Tobin thing is getting a little frustrating. Still no answer... I guess I'm just spoiled from dealing with guys like Tom at Veltune and the folks at newenough.com .
I'm ready to buy a seat and can't even order the thing. I've tried to call twice but got his machine. Haven't left a message because when I called I couldn't stick around for the return call. I'm really trying to be patient but it's starting to suck.

Just sent my last e-mail to Tobin. If I don't get a straight answer one way or the other it's off for me. I'd hate that because I really want a Tobin seat. Does anyone else offer a similar cut seat?
Woooohooooooo! Got my answer from Tobin today. He's got a seat for me. My custom Tobin seats should ship Monday or Tuesday. I ordered something just a bit different. Should look killer with my new paint job that's coming soon! I can't WAIT!

Thanks Maoz. Can you post picts? First negative performance comment I've heard about the top gun. Here in AZ melitng plastic is a real problem. All the video stores diaplay the carcass of a tape left on the dashboard.I see you have already made up your mind but I want to vote anywayGo with the Tobin. My Topgun's turn signals both melted as have a couple other peoples'. I'm going to try the GP Euro undertail that 58cycle is selling on Ebay.
