Today wasn't my day on the Busa!

STUNNAH,

I guess I will pay for it out of my pocket!  I am only 23 and don't want to have any claims on my record.  I need every discount I can when it comes to insurance.


**EDIT** Now that I think about it would you turn it into your insurance?

Will this make my rates go up a lot? In the long run should I do this? I kind of want to turn it in now since it will probably be $500-800 for everything I need!

What would you guys do if it was your bike? What about if you were my age and PERFECT insurance history!?!?**EDIT end**

I normally ride pretty smart and don't have these kinds of problems but.......people where merging onto the highway from the on-ramp to my right.  There was a semi in front of me and a SUV to my left.  I did a quick pass to keep from getting sandwiched and unfortunately this time I didn't have time to re-act for road debris.

I was pretty pissed at the time but I guess I was lucky that's all I got.  Things could have been much uglier with the stuff going on around me.  I would have been run over probably 3 or 4-times before the traffic would have reacted to the situation.

Hey got busa...u might be able to get some deals on ebay. If u like to find used stuff for a busa on ebay....do a member search (feketerobi). This guy always have busa stuff for sale and i highly recommend him.

Since it was poor road condition that caused the damage it would be filed under comprehensive and not collision. That being said your insurance should not increase. You would be better off getting insurance to pay for it because if it does increase the chances are it'll be way less than 800 dollars.
