Todays ride in Southern Indiana

well I got home about 1AM.... I waited for Karen @ X3 on 69 and she ran blocker for me (60mph all the way home) longest 125 miles I have ever ridden.. I think the problem was running WFO without tucking (tank bag in way) my guess is tire took some serious abuse pushing the bike at those speeds (I think we were over about for a few miles

)

Certainly a great day without incident.. (well cept for fat lady on the HD,,, thing was grinding the pegs when he came in the driveway,, reminded me of a "weeble" on a banana seat)

I only got a couple pics, will post them tonight..

Glad you made it home safely! Took you twice as long as it should have. How long did you wait for her? I was thinking she was about two hours behind you.

It is not easy to hang on to a Busa at WFO sitting upright... I wonder how much drag that actually puts on the bike... LSR gurus?

And FWIW... the GSXR1000 killed me through the gears... good thing the Busa has MPH

Mark said the 1000 left an 1/8 mile blacky running with the Busa's on the take off (pulled me a good 5-8 bikes through 4th gear)

by the time we were done eating and shooting the crap, she was about 20 minutes behind me when I got to 69, worked both ways, she had a flat LR and I caught it at the stop, aired it up and it was almost flat again by the time we got in... she would have been stuck on road if we did not hook up... Love it when things work out

Turned out that cottage cheese and the thought of eating it makes her stomache turn. Dang it! Should have picked something else!

It was Brocks diner and I cant remember her name. She hardley new anything about the food on them menu cuz she loved our bikes too much. I wonder if she ever took a pic of them.

yea, any questions about the GSX1000R Vs GSXR1300? The 1000 soundly beats up the big old bird until you clear the buck and a half mark... Waynes did a bit better with the 42 in the back but I must say that 1000 screams..
