Took out the 109 this morning

I took out the 109 this morning....she hasn't gotten much attention since I got my Busa two weeks ago  

.  Man, I almost forgot what she felt like after being on the Busa.  By VTwin standards the Zuki 109 is one of the fastest production bikes on the road today (I've always enjoyed spanking the VRods and VTX's  

,  putting them in their place - which is usually in the rearview  

), but after riding the Busa it felt like I was riding in a Yugo....just NO comparison  

.  I will say from a comfort standpoint, the 109 beats it out....in comparison to the Busa I felt like I was going down the highway in my recliner  

.

And yesterday evening, I had my first kill  

(and picked up a Ben Franklin along the way), when I spanked my buddy's  CBR 1000  (at least it paid for one of my stands bought from Redline yesterday  

).  We agreed to best out of 3 runs, but didn't even need the 3rd one.  Man, these Busa's are liking strapping yourself to a rocket

Sounds like you're having fun. It's amazing how many non-busa riders don't appreciate what this bike can do, till they're beat!

Nice Kill. I don't understand why some people think they can beat the busa so easily. I had a kill this weekend. A kid thought he could change his sprockets, add a power commander and that would be enough on his 07 R6 to smoke me. I pulled ahead and stayed ahead. Wasn't even close.

He said he saw a race at a drag strip where the same R6 with the same mods smoked a busa and thought he could do the same.
