Took the bike to the dyno.

Well I finally got off my lazy butt and took the bike to get it tuned. The bike has 2,000 miles, D&D bolt ons, PC3USB, and a bmc race filter. I rolled in with 152.1 HP and 94.3 TQ. Rolled out with 157.0 HP and 95.5 TQ. Do these seem like fairly good numbers for a practiclly stock bike? I am happy with the tuning. I was using dynojets map that it suggested and gained 5hp and 1 TQ with the tuning. Let me know what you think and if these numbers are good. Thanks.

Those seem fair numbers for a stock bike.
When my bike was dynoed baseline was 155.9/96.6 and with remap and akropo Ti did 165.6/99.3. Should be more HP now after getting some head work done.

Remember that HP numbers can very a good deal with elevation and temp.

I figured they might be a couple hp higher and maybe a couple more ft-lbs torque but then again I'm just one person.

Yes good numbers base 151hp + 1-2 bolt ons plus1-2 BMC race filter plus 2 for the tune.

Thanks all for the responses, I could not remember what the baseline was. I mainly took it in to get rid of the low rpm stutter and figured I would post the numbers. If not for the increase; getting rid of the stutter was well worth it.

Sounds about right...

the reason the HP went up is they leaned it out too much. you will show good numbers but a stock Busa will blow by you at high rpms.
you A/F should be between 12.8-12.9 for the street

OK JC, then a question. The higher the number on the graph the richer it is running or is it leaner? The red line is what it is running now.

Ok, thanks cheese. Now I understand, I always thought that higher the number the richer its running. Thank God I'm not a tuner.

So do you not think that it is tuned good?

Yes I was there when it was done. So not very good huh?

It seems to run fine, but I know that you know your stuff. By chance do you have a map that I could try, that are similar in mods. If you notice the map that was already on there (Blue line) was not very straight either; that was the one from dynojet. It was pretty good from 5K to 8K, but the bike surged at part throttle cruising around. Do you have a map I could try. If it does real good then I would be willing to pay for it, because I know that you have a job to do and all. Thanks cheese.

JC, have you heard of the accel pump feature on the usb. Does it do any good, or do you not recomend using it. If so, then what is a good place to start toying around.
