My track day at Barber was all I hoped it would be. Great fun and no crashes. Monday morning my bike was stolen from the parking lot of the Embassy Suites Hotel. Barber was AMAZING. Birmingham SUCKED. Knocked out the passenger window of my truck.Got my bike and all my gear. Leathers, boots, gloves, helmet, back protector, and the chest protector Nick was kind enough to loan me. Going be bikeless for a while. Oh yea, my 40 cal semi-auto was also stolen.:banghead:

Sorry to hear of your troubles:down:

Bham is typical big city America. If you ever go back, stay 30 or so miles out of town.

From my dunce stool :cookoo:

I agree unless they have a ton of bikes to chose from, in Bham you can best believe it will be yours to get stolen. If you were near the track you should have been Leeds Ala which is not that bad.

Sorry for you horrible stay here I live about 30 min from Barber I would have rode down!

Watch for Craigslist in that area or EBAY. I would check about every 3 days for the next few months or so.
Sorry bout your luck. Next time NEVER leave a pistol in your vehichle or buy a smaller one so you can carry it ALL the time when out of town.

Im so sorry to hear about your bike getting stolen. We stay in Leeds when we go to Barber and have never had a problem there. Did the hotel have cameras in the parking lot?

Dont forget to report the serial number of your gun stolen. This will prevent possibly cops coming to your door and arresting you for the owner of a weapon that was traced back to a felony crime.
And those that dont have the serial numbers of all your guns written down some where stop and do it now.

Also Pawn shops are updated of this stolen report record for the area.

That is so sad. I hate a dam thief! I tell you if I ever catch one taking something from me he will not have to worry what the cops or the judge will do. He will think before he steals anything else. It is the one thing I hate about owning these bikes. I never feel safe unless I can see mine. Sorry for your trouble.

There was a posting not to long ago about bringing your bike into a motel room, Now you (we) know why.
Sorry to hear of your troubles. Like the others have said report it all (if you haven't all ready) they might catch them, we can only hope.

I know this may be hard, but look on the bright side, you got your track time in first !!! If it had been stolen before..........

One other thing, maybe you will get an even better bike

Embassy Suites where? We stay in Leeds at the Day's inn. Downstairs room so I'm 10 ft away from bike/truck. I promise I WILL PUT A HUGE HOLE in the guy that I catch in the process of stealing my bike.

This just sux. I never stay down on Sunday night and drive home. On Friday and SAT nights we leave our bikes in the pit - security at Barber is great. I always take my gear AND GUN into my room never leave it outside at night.
