Find a track day and go. You will be a much better rider, have a blast, and we will all get to see your bragging pics.
Thanks for all the help and advice!
P.S. Have left my track settings in place for the street (except for tire pressure) and couldn'd be happier. It's going into the shop while I'm away for heaver oil and springs in the forks, and a few other mods the wife doesn't know about...(PCIII)
Cheers
I'll leave you tonight with this...

did you loose a contact in the grass? Why is your bike on it's side? ? ? ? ? That must be the part STKR tought you, not me Seriously, what happened? I must have missed reading about the wet slide
It seems impossible to exaplin to folks how much fun the track is! They just need to try it. The money will seem silly after the first couple laps. AND it improves yoru street skills 400% in 1 day! Glad you had fun!
I'm still on my track susspension settings on the street too, but now every little bump has become a launching ramp!
that looks fun heroo!!! I plan on doing track days this december at The Streets of Willow www.trackdaz.com
They want everyone to wear one or two-piece leather suits with knee pucks. I'm suprised your track day event let you guys wear non-leather suits.
You`re damn right... Nothing better to build up confidence in your bike and your abilities than to carve around a race track.
I believe that anybody who wants to ride a sportbike should take some advanced course or race school lessons... At least go lapping with some more experienced drivers. You will get more enjoyment out of your rides afterwards plus you'll be less of a danger on the road (for yourself and for others).
