Trailer opinions

I have put two Gen IIs in the rear on Pit Bulls with my GSXR up front in the center chock. I don't know if 3 would fit for sure, but I think they would.

how many busas can you fit in your 6x12 trailer

And bikes DON'T move using the pit bull set up. Here are a couple of pics with the bikes loaded.

No problem what so ever hauling 3 bikes in a 7x12 v-nose trailer, but.... your not gonna get 3 full size bikes (HD) in it.
I've done 2 Busas and a Gsxr750, 2 Busas and a Honda xx over 3k miles without one single problem. Had my trailer now since 07'

Cool - Good info thanks - just started looking hopefully by next summer will have a 7x12 V nose

I've had 3 full-size HDs in my 7x12 v. 2 Road Kings in the rear and a Fatboy in the front when I installed all of the tie-down hardware. The Road king fit in the front if the windshield was pulled. I think I may have had to pull the bags on the front RK to clear the fender on the RK to the rear. Not sure, it has been over 10 years ago. It is VERY tight and I would not want to do it very often. With two RKs loaded I prefer them to be off-set front to back vs Side to Side.

Found an old picture. Not with the Harleys but it will give you an idea of the placement.

Pretty much confirms the Bags would have to come off for a full-size H-D That is a Shadow 750 in the nose here. You can see the location of the chock if I have 2 bikes in it. The left bike goes to the front chock.

I went with Harbor Freight. Put marine grade ply wood on top, and then glued rubber mats from Home Depot on top. I also got a tri-fold ramp from HF, and put plywood on each, and glued no-slip sandpaper looking stuff from Home Depot on top of it. Been trailering the bike for a couple of years now. Was doing up to 80 mph on the highway with no issues, although trying to keep it at 70. Installed bearing buddies, and just add grease once a year.

LCB has towed her busa on that same trailer with a few mods from Delaware to Reno a few times!

IMHO, if you pull 4 bikes with a lot of toys like Hal does, a trailer is awesome. But if you are poor like me and you only transport one bike, it is a whole lot easier and safer for the driving part, to just load the bike on the back of your truck.

I hope to be poor like jellyrug someday.

I thinking about getting a trailer for the boosta so I can come up the the next bash. What are some of you guys using? I briefly looked at Tractor Supply and Home Depot but the ones I saw looked like they would need flooring.Iam looking for a single bike deal but nothing that is going to do a barrel roll when I load the bike on it

I just purchased a 6x12 enclosed trailer with the v nose. I installed 3 chocks, and some e-track strips to strap them down. No more watching my bike on the back of my truck getting wet in the rain OR having to unload it in the rain when I get home! PRAISE THE LORD!
