One thing I like about the setup, is with various anchor placements for the baxleys, you can haul all types of bikes, and you can remove the chocks in a few seconds if you want to use the chock like I do at track day, or to load other things in your trailer.

This is how Ive been rolling for many years and never an issue never a strap. I have it set up to run both bike. Can load them both in about 3 min. Love it.
