True Busa and Z12 fight

Booker, it's so funny that alot of these guys can't deal with me one on one so they all seem to want to put me on Jason Miller since he's the quickest Busa in the area. I feel honored to be mentioned in the same breath with Jason but as you heard, "I can drop the hammer" and I will try to eclipse his 9.28 mark which is phoenominal but considering the track time he has I'm not surprised. As far as X Man is concerned, the turbo R1 makes good power but what type of race can he run? He's going to wheelie until he hits 4th gear and guess what? He's dead. If that R1 even hints of catching air I'm gone. Period. Booker, I'm starting to call out these premadonnas and they don't like it but I'll break 'em down one by one.

Jason is fast but not that fast, he's been a 9.28 once. He's been going 9.30's,9.40's. But we're going to settle who's the fastest stock Busa. Jason Miller is going to put on a 50lb weight vest and race Ronnie Reece. Ronnie is 213lbs without leathers.
 
The 12R has not been to the track and I doubt it seriously if he could run a 9.50 with the stock whellbase. With an arm? Theres a remote possibility. My main focus was to point out that the 12's are severly overgeared and with 1 tooth down on the countershaft sprocket and Muzzy pipe it is a totally different bike. Personally, I could care less how hard it runs 'cause it's not mine...
 
Sounds like a race to me Mark... I was experimenting with 1 tooth down on the front sprocket and this big motor doesn't like it. I'm spending the next few hours switching it back. How are you running?

I'm babying the bike going 10.00s 138 mph.
Mark Taylor was going the same numbers at the last bike meet, but I'm 215lbs without leathers. I don't even heat the tire, just a dry hop. I haven't done anything to the bike yet. I don't wanna race it too much more without the clutch mod.
 
If you are having trouble with a piped and regeared zx12, there is no way you will run 9.40-9.60. How can you say that the zx12 will beat anyone with less than 180hp? You haven't even been to the track yet. Just because your bike has 200hp does not mean that you are riding it to its potential. I have personally run against a Lee Shierts built bike with 194hp. The run was 7/10 of a mile. I beat the rider by about 5 bikes. Another guy got on the bike and beat me by about 5 bikes. My bike is piped and remapped. I have run 9.65. Maybe you cannot ride.

GSX, you obviously have me mistaken for some kid you play with because you don't know me for one and secondly that 9.65 pass will get you a good *** whipping on my turf. So take your slow assed bike and lame skillz somewhere else before you run up on this Busa and get your wig peeled.
 
Question to GSX1360R: Why in heck does it take an at least 180 hp Zuke to outrun a 170 hp Kwak say all things being equal say. Your math and mine don't jive.

realy 200 aint jack here a kz900 will wip your butt.i know of a few that are in the mid 200 hp range goin 880s and 1 makes 325 at the rear wheel not kiling itself either.can you say 170 in th 1/4 mile.no one is ever the fastest forever if ever.saddle time will make you fast period.if its strapped it aint a streetbike its cheating!
 
I must apologize. I ran across a zx12 this weekend that ripped. The owner says it is stock other than the muzzy pipe. This thing ran like no other 12 that I have seen. Busas usually put about 9 bikes on the 12 in the runs that we make. This guy was on my rear wheel. As for my 9.65 run, its not the fastest. I do realize that. My bike has no motor work and I am just an average rider. My question to you GSX1360R is what times do you run with 200hp?
 
I recently had the opportunity to roll on with a zx12 several times. It goes a little something like this. I am 285, my friend 260. we rolled on from about 85-90 up and it was very close with really no-one pulling either person. At the time the zx12 was stock and all that is done to mine is my pipes are gutted. I could not pull ahead nor could he. They are pretty close but there is a weight difference we are talking about...equal riders, likely the busa would have pulled the 12 by a little but not much. He has since put a pipe which gives him 7hp more and I will test soon. He also plans to do some head work and other things as well to get more hp out of it. I will try and test with his new pipe and see if he can pull me or not....I will keep you all posted but pretty even considering the weight difference./////newest update: tested 3 times with the new pipe he has and here is how it goes:::pulled me 3 times on roll ons from 70-80-90-100mph....the pipe made about 7hp which made the difference.....mind you I weigh 25-30 lbs more....???but his is faster now and the only thing done on mine is cans were gutted....when I put a pipe I will test and it should even out more and then do the a/box mod I should pull him...7lbs per horse...true test just done on sunday...

Don't get me wrong, when I mentioned your name in the same sentence with Jason Miller it wasn't necessarily because of your skills, it's because you've got a bike with MONDO horsepower. Now if you run some 9.50's on a stock BUSA then maybe you could be in Jason's league, but all I know is that you've got a big motor and big horsepower, but even with all that power Jason Miller would probably smoke you with a basically stock BUSA.

And another thing I don't think you'll be breaking down many people one by one especially in a 3rd gear roll ons. If you were having even the slightest problem with that other R1 you would have a hard time against the mother of all R1's.

As far as Jason Miller goes...I'm looking at his skills on riding a stock wheelbased and a stock motored Busa. If you don't eclipse his times with your 200 hp BUSA than in my opinion you've basically built a bike that ain't doing much except winning bench races...(I got more horsepower than you do bullshit) Horsepower don't mean **** if you can't make use of it.

I know alot of people with piped and mapped BUSA's that I'll absolutely punish with my stock BUSA and that's because I'll twist that ***** to the max and let the chips fall where they may. I'm not the best quarter mile racer because I'm not willing to break my **** on the track, but in the real world where roads have turns...Look the fook out!
 
I'll see you anytime, but what kinda race would that be? I'm pushing a stock Busa (154rwhp). I've been to the track on it once and I'm not running really good times yet, but the times are respectable for a bike without the clutch mod and a bike that is "up in the air" without any lowering at all. But what's the point in running me when I'm giving up 40+rwhp?

I'm just saying this. If you can't turn an hellacious number with that 200rwhp BUSA of yours what does all that rwhp really mean.

Nothing in my book. You should be putting down 8.9's at least and without the aid of wheelie bars. And you've got an air shifter tooooooo. Not to be riding Jason, but I know Jason was doing his own gear pulling on those 9.2 runs of his.

You already said you'll give me 15 bikes right? I've never been to the horse races so I don't know how to properly handicap races, but 15 bikes equates to how many seconds 1-2 hell I don't know. If you wanna give me that kinda hit I'll take the run. We can do it at the track on the Xmas tree. Hell we can go waaaay out to 75-80 dragway and do it that way you won't be but so embarrassed when I punish that high horsepower BUSA of yours. ;-)

He has an airshifter now, but he didn't have an air shifter on those 9.2's runs of his. He hoped that the air shifter could get him into the very low 9's maybe high 8's.

So when we going out to Monrovia, MD to the 75-80 dragway?
