TTS SuperBusa vs Koenigsegg Agera RS vs Tesla Model S Plaid - Carwow Drag Race

It seemed like a fairly poorly orchestrated event. I didn't see a run where all three left simultaneously, or were lined up evenly and running the same speed during the roll-ons.

Pretty much worthless video for determining anything.

Maybe it's just my years at dragstrips influencing my opinion.

That's how pretty much every event with the Superbusa has gone. Wrong gearing, bad track conditions, bad riders. I can't for the life of me understand why there was zero preparation to get one to the states. Get one in the hands of someone equivalent to Chris Moore, Rickey Gadson, etc. Then give it to a roll racer with some 360 cams, and boom instant sales and lots of them at the price they are at which is going to be much, much, much cheaper than the turbo costs.

Double post but I don’t like bacon anymore. I have a Maxx ecu coming and I should get a discount because my name is Greg too. Lol
Don't Forget one of these too

I totally agree with much of what you say. Carwow are making a killing and it would be nice if they got their act together and laid out decent timing equipment. They seem to be car biased and didn't want to give me another chance on the roll race after they dummied me. Facilities for doing stuff like this is extremely limited in the UK. We have just one drag strip in the whole country (you guys don't know your borne). The facility we went to don't want it publicised and its not cheap (I couldn't afford it) plus all insurances and medics have to be present. The remit for my bike is' The bike Suzuki should have made' and I think we got that right. As for the H2 it would have to be an H2R to even get close, a tuned H2R would be a close run thing, but on stock wheel base I think I would still have him with the same weight rider.
If the weathers good we will be at Santa Pod on the 15th with a jockey on board. But remember we still have proper front and rear brakes, no air shifter and a stock clutch and we won't be running E85. Chris Moores bike is awesome but its not a road bike. He's portraying it as the fastest stock wheelbase bike which it probably is, no problem with that. Like I say mine is what Suzuki should have built. Incidentally the engine has only been down once in all the road, race, test work we have done. I had to pull it out as I heard a light tapping noise from the top end and it was as I thought, a shim had jumped out, so you guys know that was with an 11,500 rev limit valve float is close with gen 2 cams and stock springs. Also Gen 3 valve springs are in fact about 20% stronger than gen 2 Springs. So you would think there would be a bigger margin of safety. Then again it could be the number of times the rev-limiter has been hit, this thing charges so hard to the redline. We have more video's coming up, some will like some won't but enjoy anyway :)

Just like @greg3852 it would be great to have one in the US on some of the great race/drag tracks they have there....

Or get one to Loring.....

I think you are 100% in this is the bike that should have been built and perhaps it would be economical from the factory...

No disrespect intended, Richard.

I was just alluding to the fact this was obviously not intended to give a fair representation of the bike.

Having been involved in professional dragracing for decades, and having helped some people in LandSpeedRacing efforts, I was struck by how unprofessionally this was run and presented.

It’s not a matter of anyone not enjoying the videos. We enjoy any video of that monster running. Our thoughts are what you could do with that bike if it was properly promoted in the US. The motorcycle culture here is 78990 times what it is in the UK. Get the bike over here and let someone set it up long wheelbase and lowered and show what it is possible of. Get it out on our streets destroying turbo busas and see how your business goes. Yes it’s the bike Suzuki should have made but they didn’t. You did. And it’s just not being given enough credit for what it can do to the market. I know there are gen 2’s with them here, but this bike is the newest hottest bike out there. Either strike while the iron is hot or you’ll lose a major opportunity.

100% agree, if there was an American sponsor for this bike it would literally take off....

There is a reason so many bikes are in the US market and not in others.
