tulsa and surrounding....pulled the trigger now I need help!!

i cant do mothers day either but any other day is fine and you are more than welcome to bring your bike to my shop and use the lift

Thats the best bet John, a lift will make the entire process much easier. Props Eric! :beerchug:

Yeah I am definately not doing it on mothers day. That lift sounds pretty tempting!! I am not even sure when mothers day is. I am probably going 6 or 7 over. I only want to lower it between 2 and 3 inches and I never ride anyone. I weigh about 280 though so hopefully that will be ok as long as I adjust me preload on the shock and dont lower it more than 2or 3 inches. I got the brake line to. I will update this when I get the parts in. Thanks for the volunteers!!:beerchug:

you should be okay with just adjusting the preload for now but later you may want to change the shock just let me know and the lift is always available for you or anyone else

are you stretching it for drag racing (thats all stretching is good for)???? are there no curves where you live? you are going to have one hell of a time taking a bike this big with an extended swing arm through twists and turns. it takes the fun out of riding. but if you are making her a trailer queen show bike then you will probably be ok

why would you say that there are alot of people out there with extended bikes that can hang with most people on non extended bikes and its to each there own.

Oklahoma is just one place you don't have to worry about twisties. I think you'll be ok John.

+1,000 on the extended through the twisties!!! It's hard to 'judge a book by it's cover' without first reading it. Once you learn how to do an extended on the edge, it just adds to the thrill of carvin'!!! :beerchug: :cheerleader:

You will be fine John,

My only concern would be will you need a stiffer shock.

The Tulsa guys are pretty good...I am sure you will have some good help doing your project. BTW, :welcome: to the ORG!

be careful with the unprofessional an inexperienced help of the street you get. Remember how the license plate mod went for the Ninja . If in doubt seek advice from someone with the same kit or get a pro:rofl: But you definitely in the right place to holla for help

Just sold the house, Trying to get everything done for the move, If I can I will take time to help, James let me know if and when you can and I will see if I can get away.

However someone better have a spare room because if I take time away from moving to work on a bike my wife is liable to send me to the dog house and its already packed away.
