I've wondered about the auto turn signal cancellers myself. The only units I've seen are on the BMW, Goldwings and a few Yamaha cruisers. Anyone seen an aftermarket kit?

FWIW, I just developed the habit of pressing the turn signal switch after every turn, and many times during riding, just to make sure it's off. It's kind of like a nervous twitch, though. Something I just HAVE to do.

I could think of a few ways to make one using timing circuits, but it wouldn't be PnP.

I dont know! But my 82 Yamaha Seca Turbo had them after a distance/time/speed limits were met they would stop blinking!

(bradsbusa @ May 05 2007,22:26) the question is how to make turn signal cancellers

Not a dumb answer... he is asking about the "canceler" because he is to tall to see the lights on the dash. I am onlyh 5'7" and hated the view of the dash with a stock windscreen. If you get an aftermarket one it gives you full view of the dash and better wind protection.

Hey

, a little manners go a long way around here. If that's just your style, there are many other forums out there you'll feel more at home in.

Tommy, sounds like you need one of these-

Puig Double Bubble (light smoke), $69.95 MSRP.

Cockpit view-

You can also get clear (unnecessary in my opinion, you can see through the pic above how easy to read the gas tank) or dark smoke.

HUGE difference in cockpit view, I'm not even tall and it was one of my first mods.

I had one of those Kisan cancellers on my FZ1. It worked OK, but I wouldn't buy another. I have the same maddening problem of forgetting. I finally put some Radio Shack beepers in the turn signal circuits, one for each ( right & left). It's a tiny bit annoying at a long light but I never ride down the street with turn signals flashing any more.

Thanks Yall
The only thing that I'm particularly good at is welding. I can weld aluminum, titanium etc. at my small shop at home, if I can help ,please let me know.

. That was a good answer. That's the reason several of us tall guys did the Double Bubble screens. Being 6'3" you can see the gauges alot better with the Double. If you can't help out with answers don't jump in and start slamming other peoples.

a good answer would be how to make a canceller work , seems like we can make every thing else for the busa why not a canceller we need a eletrical genius not a windscreen because he may need one because he is tall but that still doesnt turn off the blinker automaticly ,,, this is 2007 not 1950

A good canceller for my bike is my Kanji mirrors... I'm 6' and during the daytime I'd forget my signals where one until I made my mirrrors. Now I almost can't miss them.

I'm going to think a little bit on an actually signal canceller... definitely possible, but wonder what's the best way of going about it... ummmm
