Turnstile

I've done it in all my previous bikes, but I'm afraid that if I pull too hard on the busa, it might keep going and fall

. I usually just wiggle it around or do the burnout spin (if outdoors).

Lay it down on it's right side, then grab the passanger grab rail and spin her on the side. Stand her up! DONE!

There is also a Cycle Slider , which is a device made for the purpose of turning your bike in tight spaces. It costs $475, but if you drop your bike from repeatedly spinning it on the sidestand, it will cost you more then that in damages.

I bought a motorcycle lift for my cruiser bike which allowed me to park one of my bikes in a corner by pushing it sideways, but it wouldn't work for a Busa.

REV,

I was thinking about the plywood idea from the beginning -- I jsu never thought of the furniture slidey things. You guys really are geniuses on here. Sincerely, thank you for that idea.

I wouldn't recommend the sidestand pivot, especially if you've done the sidestand mod... Even assuming the sidestand was made of unbreakium alloy, you could drop it, the stand could poke through the floor (I don't know what your parking area is like) or it could slide and...you could drop it!

I park in a narrow slot in an underground garage. I pull in, do a slow speed U-turn and basically line up to the slot. I normally then kill the engine and just walk it backwards while I'm still in the saddle. When I leave I just ride straight out. I don't see why you would ever need to do an Austin Powers type of turn.

I used to park my 1200 Bandit in a shed. There was a small slope leading up to the door so I rode straight in. When exiting I would just back the bike straight out, using gravity and the brakes to control it (same as off-loading from a trailer) until I rolled it out to the street where I would start it up and finish putting my gear on.

My wife wants nothing to do with the bike but she will come out and watch me for the 10 minutes it takes to turn the bike around and laughs and heckles me the whole time.
Any thoughts?
My thoughts are that your wife has to get this on video so everyone here can heckle you too.

Anyways, on my FJs I would pop it up on the centerstand and spin it. I realize this doesnt work with the Bus though, so how about backing it in so you dont have to fuss with moving it all around?
