Just something for those of you who use it to know about. I know the article is about Marines in Iraq, but it shows how these garments will act under severe heat or flames in any situation.

Just something to keep in mind not only for motorcycle use, but for those of you who use them for other reasons.....especially if you are a firefighter!

Leave it to Da Marines to find out just how close to the fire you can get without being burned

Still though if I end up getting set on fire, the undershirt is going to be the leat of my concerns.

Just imagine what you're Phoenix Jackets will do... there is a reason they are called "Phoenix"

Check the lining in your big $$$$ leathers.....most are polyester. And your helmet liner is a roman candle

I have seen this before. No one in military avation that actually flies can wear any of that....Seems like none of our boys and girls can get a break over there.

seriously...if you are exposed to enuf heat while riding that could cause such a condition, then you have WAY more serious issues than what you think.

the clothing does work for it's intended use...cold and hot WEATHER conditions....not protection from exposure to liquid nitrogen or flames/pyro technics.

leave it to the military to not read the directions.

You crack me up! I probably wouldn't be thinking about my underwear if I was on fire either.
