Believe me I know. Even though this sucked ass, I will learn from this experience and hopefully come out a better rider. It's like a bad dream and you can't just wake up.
I launch from around 4500-5500 rpm. I think that run was 5k or so...glad you are ok.... So Greg is to blame huh? too many ponies? (wait a second, isnt that like too much money?)
Not sure what track conditions were like in your neck of the woods but we are battling temps in the 50's and 60's. (track temp did get up to 95 on Saturday for first round of eliminations) but cooled off quickly and the bikes and cars were skating around quite a bit (Pro Mods/Nostalgia Fuelers/ Pro Stock bikes)..
How do you normally launch? your ET's look pretty darn good...
the first time I went to the track my hand position was at the 3 o'clock position (arm/wrist is parallel to the ground) since that is how I normally ride on the street.wow i was just looking at you 60ft, times you really have improved!! if you get a little better on the 60 foot you might be in the 8,s soongreat job!!! i read that you changed you position of your hand on the throttle, how are you holding your wrist now? 3 oclock???
I think I am going to take your advice and do this on the black parts that were scratched. When the season is over I'll replace the plastics and mirrors.Just rattle can it semi flat black for now until the winter comes...
Tell me about it. I obviously hit my head pretty hard, but when I came too I had 4 paramedics standing over me. They kept telling me not to move and stay still. I of course wanted to make sure my limbs were fine and moved them around just a little bit. I also recall asking them over and over if I could take my helmet off because I was really hot and they kept saying no lol. Thanks for the input... always like hearing "how" when someone gets things working...
on a slight side bar... how does it feel to have safety/rescue on the job before you know what happened? (great respect for these guys myself... make racing fun knowing help is already on scene watching)
