Great news, sounds like his spirts are up. Does the tel# listed just get you to the floor or to the room? I'd like to give him a call. When is a good time? After supper perhaps??

I'd say that would be a good time Doug. If I remember correctly, his last PT was finished around 4. I think the PT told him yesterday that he would be done by then.

Just got off the phone with Pappy. He is in very good spirits and says that he is not in much pain at all. Pappy says thanks for all the support and well wishes. Still no weight bearing allowed on his broken ankle and having trouble moving his fingers on the right hand because of the tendon damage. He said he walked with assistance of a walker about 80 feet today! He is thinking of getting out of Rehab and back home in maybe 3 days or so, but still no definate word of a discharge date.

Talked to Pappy this morning and he says he is GOING HOME TOMORROW! He is feeling great and ready to get going!

And yes Dad will be going home on Wednesday.. He's far from 100 percent but will be fine with a little more rehab.
