I don't know that I agree. There's a point where you invest enough of your time into something that it's more then just a machine, It's YOUR machine. And while tehre are similar rides out there, none of them are quote the same.

Been following the thread to see what the outcome would be and it is to bad that you weren't able to recover the bike undamaged. Hoping to hear more about the hospital search, hope they got f**ked up really good. Sounds like you have a great insurance company, best wishes on your new bike. Get a Roadlok and an alarm system, can't stop them but you can slow them down or make them look for something easier.

I think we can all empathize with you on your loss. Thieves tried to steal my '04 LE two weeks ago; the only thing that kept them from lifting it was a huge chain and lock attached to a ground anchor. I have installed more locks and electronics since. Get another Busa and take the precautions for peace of mind.

NINJA KILLER brother I feel for you loss. I have been there and I am rather thankful they didn't find my bike. I don't think I would want that added onto the sickening feeling of it being stolen. Kudo's to American Family insurance, that is awesome what they are doing!

Look at it this way, at least you weren't on the bike. With it being a total loss man you could have been messed up pretty good.
