He said he can do everything with the direct link (Editor), my bud in Texas uses similar technology, he keeps the the black box and taps into your system, same functionality as a Mastertune , can tune everything to the nth detail. Cant speak to PC as I never liked their parasitic system but have heard from others the PCV has full functionality now.

You will not need to have them jump O2 system to prevent code throw as with ecu flash they can turn it off.

Then again I think I remember seeing Frank from powerhouse post and say an ecu flash along with PcV was best combo?

Different Tuners have different opinions even on proven technology and process, I tend to go with people that with proven results, Blaise has proven results and if they are suggesting using direct link I have to trust them. I don't get between tuners arguing. Thanks for the additional info Kromdom, interesting read..

Thanks Kromdom. I knew I read that. Seems like he knows what he's talking about and without even ever read one of his posts the posts from others regarding him give credence.

Yeah read it, will discuss on Tuesday. I am good either way as long as I get a good tune I just hate having a parasitic box hanging on the bike.

FWIW, bought my bike with a PC V already on it and currently running a canned tune from Dynojet for a full Akra 4-2-2. Have to say that I am quiet pleased with it (mods on bike are V&H header, Yosh R-77 and BMC filter). A dyno/tune is definitely in my futture TO-DO list. Meanwhile, I also got an ECU Interface so I can use the editor software to do the tweaks in Frank's post.

Surely cannot go wrong with following what your trusted local tuner is recommending. Best of luck.

Up to 10hp and 5ft lbs torque, ballpark.
Give or take a few. Depends on individual bike, and dyno and tuner.
