VIC's Chrome Fairing Screens

2008 Hayabusa doesn't come with screens to protect components on fairings, I got mine from: Vic_E55_2001 you can PM him to order.

I got chrome, they are top-notch screens for style and extra protection. I do not have these installed yet, but they came today already bent and fitted for the busa. I recommend to all, they are not cheaply made and will last probably the life-time of the bike without the chrome flaking off, unlike other screens out there, contact VIC today to order.

+1...I got the gold screens from vic. good product at a good price. I have yet to install mine though

Yeah, I was going to originally go with gold, but I ordered some new chrome logo decals from: . Also, if you want to change the kanji symbols I recommend using their overlays or non-overlay products.

I am going to have someone who knows what they are doing take the fairings off and install the screens.

Also, from what I've heard about the isntalling fairing screens, do not use GLUE use SILICON.

In addition, im sure VIC can do other years besides the 08, but I just wanted to let you guys know they came in and look good!

Yep, he does good work. Have them on my other bikes.

I don't think its worthless, but I will definetly put up some pics of the screens when I have them in, I just wanted to let you guys know that the screens purchased through VIC were excellent.

OK, these have been installed and here is what they look like on the bike, when you order through VIC he makes 6 total screens, 3 for each side. I tried to get different angles for view.

a) order screens from VIC
b) when you get them take both fairings off carefully
c) get some silicon sealant
d) place the screens in slots, and put silicon on screens from the inside part of fairing
e) put fairings back on
f) post up some pics
g) tell your buddies where you got the screens

Easier said then done im sure someone out there has better detailed instructions on how to remove the fairings but goodluck to ya, give yourself atleast 1-2 hours, dont rush it either take your time...

Make sure to use alot of silicon that way they don't become loose, you don't wanna have to remove the fairing again to adjust them, get it right the first time and make sure they are solid and sturdy in there before you re-attach the fairings.

If you haven't taken the fairings off then I would probably have someone who has taken them off do that for you.

It took me a while to find the third.... Being mesh, does chrome show up well enough to compliment other chrome components?
