VIC's Chrome Fairing Screens

One day when I grow up and have money(damn expensive azz shed!) I'm going to pay Vic to send me some chrome ones for my 08, there's no way I'd ever go anywhere else Vic SI da MAN:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

I never used silicone. Gen1 mounting instructions HERE

08 Plastics almost 2 times thinner then Gen 1 plastics. I would not recommend soldering iron method as I did for gen 1 bikes. Instead you can hold screens in place with painter tape just like I did on picture and use "Plastic weld" epoxy in 4-5 spots.

Vic, why not a hot glue gun?

I think it`s too hot inside of the plastics. "Plastic Weld" glue is epoxy based and works very well. 4-5 little spots will hold screen in place. $2.99 at Home Depot, WalMart, Lowes...

Good point, would be sharp addition to Godzilla. PM sent

It took me a while to find the third.... Being mesh, does chrome show up well enough to compliment other chrome components?

Right now its the only chrome on my bike besides the license plate frame holder , so I can only guess that it would, I do plan on getting other chrome components, including wheels. But if your bike is black any chrome mod will look good.

They are good screens and anyone looking to get some should use VIC. They are bent into shape for you, and chromed out after the bend, all you have to do is pluck these in and properly seal them down.

That`s one damn great looking blue... What are those tank covers on sides... Never seen it before.

Go look at the Suzuki 2008 Catalog - those are Suzuki OEM CF-effect tank pads was beginning to wonder if nobody liked them since I hadn't seen any on anyone else's bike (don't think it would look good on Orange); wanted something to protect the tank from my knees not a tank bra - Just hope my tank bag (coming) will still stick good enough.
