there a couple of fellas around here that wanted to prove me how slow the busas are. there are some other jerks with busas around here (they lend it to everyone, dont respect it at all... and are lamers in any case) so they called me out. one had a vtr sp1 with twin acrapovic and is a hell of a starter. he can start the bike from 0 speed very fast. the other fella had the new cbr 1000 rr. so the guy with the sp1 calls me out. i don't know how to start the busa, but i was like what the heck lets go for it, it's just a damn sp.
so we meet up and the guy with the rr shows up, he looks like a jerk, dont even have a helmet on. the guy with the sp arrives and is like... hey give me the rr to run this guy on the busa. I was positive i was gonna lose because he knew how to start it and i didn't but this wasnt the original call so he gets his sp and we go for it. 400m
i had my tires cold and his were warm, i didn't see it like much of a challenge so the first run he was in front of me (being a good starter and all).
second start he cheated. left about half a second earlier. so i decided to give him one more chance...
melted half the tire to start it, i am nervous in such cases cause he seemed hostile, and i didn't feel like running at that point anyway, so start was not that good and let the rpms hit red before i changed. no matter what i did, i was still about 5-6 bikes ahead as they said. i am sure if i could start it better i would be waaaay ahead of him...
looks like i am gonna have to learn how to start it good. afterwards when i tried on my own without pressure i could start it like a #####! i wish i could have started like that when i was running with him...
i'll try the rr soon and let u guys know. i am positive i will lose if i dont practise my starting techniques but i wont dissapoint u guys.
(my bike has twin yoshis, k&n filter and pc3usb)
