I'm new to this board, been reading it for about a week or two while waiting to pick up my busa. Anyhow I was disturbed to watch the back and forth between CyberJoe(Again) and everyone else, especially the death threats!
Picturing CyberJoe in my mind, big, tall redneck packing 2 .45's, I was pretty surprised to find out Joe was a woman. You never know over the internet. Her last couple posts show that she wants to make up and I hope everybody can forgive and forget.
Now onto important stuff. The busa is my 10th bike, last 2 92 Katana 1100 & 89 GSXR1100. The difference is amazing! Only ridden 170 miles since Sat. but I note: I never know what gear I'm in after 3rd cause it pulls like a freight train no matter the rpm's or mph. After reading your posts about missing 5 th or 6th gear I found that if you just click the shifter all the way you'll never miss a shift. Another thing I notice, I live in the Wash DC area usually Harley riders never wave if youre on a Japanese bike, but since I've had my Hayabusa the Harley guys wave but a lot of the other sport bike guys don't. Curious. Couple questions for you guys before I go.
1. How do you tell your bikes production number?
2. My Katana had an Ungo alarm but it drained the battery if you left it in more than 3 weeks. Who makes the best alarm system now?
3. 6 years since my last new bike and I can't remember, is it easier to pull the stickers off if its hot or cold out?
4. Are the Yosh pipes out now duplex or not?
My 89 GSXR ran 11.09 bone stock but I got it to 10.59 with just a yosh duplex pipe. Theyre
great pipes.
Lastly, CyberJoeAgain, if you want the best bike, buy Suzuki!!!!! this is my 5th.
