Officer Thompson in Santa Clara,Calif is still giving out tickets for modified pipes.Yesterday 9/30/99 one of the guys at the gym who is going to be a Santa Clara Cop told me that he got a ticket in Santa Clara by officer Thompson who rides a Harley Davidson police bike,no slack at all,this cop hates his Harley bike and check this out the bike is tuned up by San Jose Harley dealer and someone installed different pipes on the police bike to increase horse power to keep up with traffic.From this guy at the gym he told me that the other Santa Clara cops think this MC cop is a jerk.His main reply when you ask him why you're getting a ticket is,"It's part of my job".He will ticket you if you are a off duty cop also on a motorcycle if it has modified pipes.Also Los Gatoes cops are now doing the same thing so riders in Northern California you have been warned.
