Well the round he held up was a 7.62x39, not a .308. I own and shoot both. I remember watching that same video and having a period of much blinking as my brain tried to process what was said. While they might push the same diameter bullet down range, they are not the same round. There is no 'kinda right yet wrong', he was simply wrong. I hope he hunted down the person that wrote his script and killed them Chuck Norris style.

And while I have shot that rifle multiple times before, I couldn't afford the ammo to enjoy owning one. In all honesty, I'd rather own a .454 or maybe the new .500 magnum that S&W came out with.

I've had acouple of these close calls while lobbing the round down range. It's fun when you see it coming back at ya and actually have the time to think "uh oh"
