1. Have plenty of rags ready since you will probably spill a lot of coolant and oil.
2. Have 3 or 4 quarts of coolant on hand since it's a good idea to put fresh stuff back into the bike. Also you will want to wash the gunk out of your coolant overflow reservoir. Just rinse it out with a garden hose.
3. I installed and took off an Akrapovic for some service work and noticed that the pair plate bolts had loosened up. When I put the pipe back on, I will add some loctite.
4. Also it's a good time to clean out the crud behind the oilcooler protection screen, i.e. gravel, sticks, leafs, etc.
5. The PC2 is too easy. No tips necessary.
6. Hope that it's not good weather. It might make you want to rush in order to take the bike out for a blast!
