Well I Crashed !!

Wow, sorry Robert, that's why insurance exists, time will heal your upset, and it could have happened to anyone (and often does). I think of the times I'm pressing buttons on my Zumo then look up to a corner and correct at the last minute...my stupidity. Your brakes were wet, how the heck did you know? That doesn't happen every time at a car wash so don't over analyze the "what ifs", it does no good to beat yourself up. Take care and I'll see you in the Spring bro....Doyle

In re: "Would if I Hit a Fellow Motorcycle Rider ?

Would if it was a Good Friend of Mine and a Motorcycle Rider ?

Would if it was ME on my BUSA that was Hit by some Dumb ASS in an Escalade ?"

All good questions, even if its 'what if' and not 'would if'. All of them need thinking about so count your blessings and learn from this. Glad you made out OK.

UH OH, hope everyone is alright

Just remember to learn from your mistakes. I was in several bad accidents when I was a teenager, a couple my fault. Those have made me a much more cautious rider/driver.

Glad your ok. Tell the wife to be glad too you could have been really hurt. Accidents happen. I am sure your not the only one that had a wreck today. Cars can be replaced.

Dude, you must have hit that Mercedes hard to total your Cadi? Good thing you were wearing your seat belt. Just think, if you would have been riding your busa? Could have been worse and I'm sure the Mercedes driver is saying what a dumbass and I'm sure you are agreeing? But, all you can do now is chock it up to experience and feel really good about the injuries being minor. Same if you crash your bike, if you can get up and walk away, it was a good crash!

Sorry about your wife's ride and the ass chewing you had to tollerate! But that's just part of being married. I really admire you for taking full responsibility and not making excuses.

Your emotions are real and your questions are valid. While I am pleased to hear nobody was seriously hurt, I am not going to coddle you and try to make you fell better. You screwed up and you know it. The good Lord smiled upon you today and protected you as well as the people in front of you. It appears as though you have learned from this experience. Should this hard lesson hold, you do not need to worry about what the future holds. If you brush it off, lessen it's impact, forget what happened or make excuses, next time may be worse. Don't get me wrong, I'm not mad at you and I'm not a hater. I want you to take time to reflect on what you did wrong and make dang sure you never do it again. You'll be a better driver / rider / passenger for it. I wish you well, Moose

Got a hold of the Insurance Company Today.  Somehow I never Purchased "Rental" Coverage for the Escalade

We all lose focus from time to time and all the what if's
don't matter the only things that matter are you are o/k
