I'm getting the '09 Gix 1k (and selling the Busa). I'm sorely disappointed in the color options for the '09 gixxer 1K in the U.S. I'll probably paint it as one of my first mods. LOL!

At first I thougth you were nuts for selling your Busa, for a gix, but I see you have a Gen 1, so the gix is definately a step up. Enjoy.

I would trade in the 06 because you'll probably like the GenII so much that youll never ride the 06 again. Unless it is the LE, in which case I would keep it as thats the most beautiful paint scheme IMO
