Looks like I'm not gonna be evaporatin' from the board after all. After puttin' together all the cuts I could make by droppin' internet, etc it became clear that I couldn't make enough nickle and dime cuts per month to make a very big dent in the credit cards that are suckin' me dry. The cuts would help but without doin' somethin' more I'd still be losin' my ass for years to come to the $$ leachin' cc companies. In other words, there would be virtually no end in site.
I've had to look at other options. Right now it looks like my most dreaded option is gonna be my best. I think you all know what that is. Yep, looks like I'm gonna have to sell Da' Train. As bad as I absolutely fuckin' hate this, it's simply the "grown up" and responsible thing to do. I'm absolutely physically sick at my stomache right now just thinkin' about it, but I'm tired of sendin' all my money to my creditors every month and not havin' poop left. I can't keep on doin' that. The stress of workin' all the time and still bein' broke as a fuggin' convict is gettin' to me.
So, I'm lookin' at sellin' the busa to eliminate the payment and insurance costs per month. I have some equity in it so whatever I get over payoff will go toward eliminating as much as I can up front from my debt. From there I'm lookin' at either refinancin' my home or maybe a home equity line of credit to consollidate the rest and get the interest rate WAY down.
I know, it sucks to sell yer busa, but I've gotta dig myself outta this mess. Once I get everything back in order I'll no doubt get another bike. It's not like it will be a permanent thing. Hopefully by next spring I'll be to where I can get on two wheels again. On the bright side, winter is comin' up so I'd be watchin' 'er sit in the garage for a few months anyway. I'd much rather watch her sit, but at least it won't be as hard to be without during the winter.
Now I've gotta figure out how much to ask. It's a 2003 with 1858 miles. Ya'll know the mods. New tires with approx. 400 miles on 'em. It's had overkill oil changes (factory oil changed out around 200 miles. Three more changes since then.) and it's fairly clean.
Any ideas on a fair asking price?
Well, I'm off to throw up...
