Looks like I'm not gonna be evaporatin' from the board after all. After puttin' together all the cuts I could make by droppin' internet, etc it became clear that I couldn't make enough nickle and dime cuts per month to make a very big dent in the credit cards that are suckin' me dry. The cuts would help but without doin' somethin' more I'd still be losin' my ass for years to come to the $$ leachin' cc companies. In other words, there would be virtually no end in site.

I've had to look at other options. Right now it looks like my most dreaded option is gonna be my best. I think you all know what that is. Yep, looks like I'm gonna have to sell Da' Train. As bad as I absolutely fuckin' hate this, it's simply the "grown up" and responsible thing to do. I'm absolutely physically sick at my stomache right now just thinkin' about it, but I'm tired of sendin' all my money to my creditors every month and not havin' poop left. I can't keep on doin' that. The stress of workin' all the time and still bein' broke as a fuggin' convict is gettin' to me.

So, I'm lookin' at sellin' the busa to eliminate the payment and insurance costs per month. I have some equity in it so whatever I get over payoff will go toward eliminating as much as I can up front from my debt. From there I'm lookin' at either refinancin' my home or maybe a home equity line of credit to consollidate the rest and get the interest rate WAY down.

I know, it sucks to sell yer busa, but I've gotta dig myself outta this mess. Once I get everything back in order I'll no doubt get another bike. It's not like it will be a permanent thing. Hopefully by next spring I'll be to where I can get on two wheels again. On the bright side, winter is comin' up so I'd be watchin' 'er sit in the garage for a few months anyway. I'd much rather watch her sit, but at least it won't be as hard to be without during the winter.

Now I've gotta figure out how much to ask. It's a 2003 with 1858 miles. Ya'll know the mods. New tires with approx. 400 miles on 'em. It's had overkill oil changes (factory oil changed out around 200 miles. Three more changes since then.) and it's fairly clean.

Any ideas on a fair asking price?

WTF? Oh damn, bro....this is not cool. I feel for ya, my bro...I really do. How 'bout selling one of the cages? You can sell one of the cages to get more fundage into getting the shop and running and then when that's done, you can load up some winter paint projects...

Wow...this is a real shocker. Damn. Fair asking price? With as immaculate as she is and the mods and low mileage, I'd say starting point should be 85-8800. Lotsa good stuff on her...and she's in great condition.

Damn....

I only have one cage right now. It's a worn out '95 Nissan Maxima. It's paid for so no monthly payment. It prolly wouldn't bring as much total as the equity I have in Da' Train. Wouldn't do anything for my monthly expenditures...

I'm tellin' ya bro, I'm honestly physically sick right now because I'm gonna have to resort to this, but I can't continue the never ending cycle I'm in. It's all I can do to pay my bills every month and I can't even see a dent in the credit cards after makin' payments. I can't continue to work all the time, see no end in site, and still be broke. It's takin' a toll... I stay fuggin' stressed out and depressed all the time lately. I gotta do somethin' and this simply makes the most sense...

Life sucks sometimes...

Very sorry to hear this, bro. Dayum...no other places offerin part-times?
Haven't been able to find part time that pays worth a poop. All the local off duty security is covered right now. Hard to find part time that will work with my full time schedule. Trust me, I've been tryin' to find another answer. It just ain't there...

I've figured everything I can cut, including the grocery bill, man. It's just not going to be enough to put a dent in the cc's. I've gotta eliminate as much debt as possible as soon as possible and then knock the rest out ASAP. It's the only way I can get back to where I can have another bike and enjoy life again. I wish I had another option, man, but I've searched and just can't find another solution...

we're postin at the same time. bud...don't do it!!!!!!!!!!!!! how much is the bike payment? can't be more than a couple hundred bucks a month. go work at a gas station or Mc D's. You can smile all the way home twistin the throttle. Have you looked into debt consilidation?

(sings boyz to men tune)

"Although we've come...to the end of the road....still I can't let go. It's so natural...you belong to me...I belong to you....hooo-ooohh....

and ask yourself this. If you sell the train...........does it pay off all the bills? if not.....do not do it. you could get a loan against the bike as colateral (SP?). It would be cheaper than the CC interest charge, plus you keep the bike.

The debt consolidation places seem almost as bad as the cc companies with all the friggin' fees and such. I'm lookin' at a couple other consolidation options. I'll prolly end up takin' a home equity loan or refinancin' the house. That's why I need to eliminate as much as humanly possible before I make a move. I do not want to finance a penny more than I have to on my house.

AARRRRRGGG!! Damnit, bro!! I can't bear to see things like this! Shid! There must be some way for Da Train to stay....must be some way...

I GOT IT!!!! I'll pimp myself out to all the ladies and send the proceeds to you!

Wait a minute....I need to find clientale first...

damn BT...........if I had a spare dime to my name I would send it to ya. FWIW......I had to sell my sleds last year to pay some bills so I know where you are. Unfortunately, I will never be able to replace them. In retrospect, it was a huge mistake selling them.

It won't pay off all the bills but it will knock out a sizeable chunk and then allow me to knock out the rest MUCH quicker. Takin' a loan on the bike won't cover it all either. Besides I still owe on it...

gimme a second to think.....and have a smoke....I'm in a non smoking hotel right now....gimme ten minutes to go ouside and burn one. we can figure it out. The home equity loan is a good choice. are you behind right now? Lazerblade and I were just talking about you last week........and how you are one of the backbones of this place. We cant let you lose your bike.

Behind on one account but will be current on it, too by the end of the month. I'm payin' on it but can't send them enough right now to satisfy them enough to make it current. The rest are current. Never been late on the mortgage...

Credit score from past late payments and the one delinquent account is makin' it hard to do anything via refinance/equity credit. I have got to do whatever it takes to get things in line so the credit score will come up to where I can get something done.

have you talked to your bank about a debt consilidation loan yet? that MAY help. Usually your bank that has your house loan is willing to help out.

My home loan has changed hands several times since I first got it and is now with Chase. I have talked to them and they say I have to get my score up before they can do anything with it.
