We have a great Victorian home, the only problem is I have no garage. n/p because just two short blocks away I rent one along with about six other folks. last Tuesdays evening forecast was for rain. So I took my baby to the garage instead of parking her behind the house. As I pulled in I see some guy working in one of the other garages. This is not unusual the only rules to working on your whip is don't block someone else's garage & no welding.
To make a long story short. My phone rings 3:30a Wednesday. Its the owner of the garages telling me there's a fire and I might want to get down there.
Well I dive into some pants & sprint the two blks. Fire fighters would only let you get but so close. All the garages were fully involved. By 5:30 they have it out. Apparently the A-hole I saw working was welding and something caught . He didn't try to put it out he just called the fire dept from the pay phone up the street. By the time they got there it was roaring.I later learn this moron had only been renting his space for 2 weeks.
The roof collapsed but I could see the charred remains of my baby still on her stands all the plastic, seat , even the tires gone. Not going to explain how I felt I think you all can guess. Of course I was in a bit of shock until I realized
the guy right next to me lost a 75k Porsche in the blaze.
Insurance looks like its going to cover what I owed but I'm back to square one. Think I'll probably opt for a 06 or 07 some pretty good pricing out there. I keep telling myself it's just a bike...Maybe I'll believe it soon.
I'll be contacting Daniel and a few of the other board sponsors. Going to rebuild better I hope. @ least I'm not trying to replace a Slant nose Turbo

BRO, I feel your pain, mine got stolen and I thought all was lost but you can come back bigger and badder then before.

Sorry bro, and you should have warned us about the thread. Glad my kids weren't sitting here reading over my shoulder. Good luck on the buy or build.

man I can't imagine what your going thru. glad to hear your insurance will cover everything

Mine was stolen also so I feel for ya. Still bikeless but I have been eyeing up those Suzuki Boulevard M109R's.

I'm glad you're covered by insurance, otherwise I'm sure you'd be shedding a few tears!

Good luck finding a new Busa and have fun with it. And remember... things could always be worse.

Thanks my brothers. it could've been worst. I got up Saturday thinking about hitting the back roads.....There's always next season

It can almost ALWAYS be worse. It sucks, but in the end, it IS just a bike and you will have another one that you will love and make even better than the previous one.

That's terrible. It's a senseless loss at the hands of an idiot.

So lets hear the comeback story.
