Speed: Good question. There are two speeds in effect here - forward speed and fall rate. The wingsuit drastically lowers fall rate; there are pics out there of guys in wingsuits flying alongside open parachutes (really fast ones) and able to hold formation. That lowered fall rate translates somewhat into forward speed. If I were to make a wild guess, 30 MPH fall rate and 40 mph forward speed. But, think about it; stunt doubles do dead falls from over 100 ft in the air all the time....It's all about what you hit...
