Yeppers the wife got the word, we are headed for Seattle...  Actually just North of Seattle.  Mt. Lake Terrace I think it is.

They Made an offer she didn't want to refuse...   and the Mrs. is bouncing off the walls.

It's a good step up for the Mrs, She is moving into Management and that's got her pretty excited.  More Project management than People management I think...

They are moving everything for us including the vehicles,  (I imagine I can have my Busa Crated at the dealership.)  Then they are flying us up, providing a rental car and Corporate Housing for a month while we find a place to live and get settled. Plus some bonus money and some other nice stuff.

So please Give Mrs. Revlis a Hearty Congrats... and Me a Hardy good luck finding a job!

So, Ya'll might want to contact the Florida folks for some tips and tricks in dealing with my twitchy ass...  Apparantly STFU works pretty good...

Any Help/Suggestions would be appreciated...

Who has a Job for Revlis?</span></span>

He he he... Yeah you all can see how hard working I am...

I am soft spoken, polite, friendly, and most of all Completely full of shid. BUT I show up on time, and will bust my ass to get a job done right.

Anyhoo, now would be a great time for any of you Seattle locals to "sound" off (Get it?) with answers to a few questions. And any other suggestions...

1. Is it practical to live on one of the Islands just across from Seattle and take a ferry every day? Too Pricey?

2. If I have to commute to Seattle is there a direction I DO NOT WANT TO BE COMING FROM?

3. Is Gold Bar TOO far East for a reasonable commute to Mt. Lake Terrace?

4. Anyone know a good realtor up there that they trust? I am going to need to be in a house come March.

5. Any areas I should really stay away from? Rough Parts of Town? High Tax Areas? Other Trouble spots?

Anyhoo, I am really excited about getting back to some mountains, Crisp Air, and cooler weather.

Looking forward to meeting new folks, even though I will be missing my Tampa people. I Promise you all will be in my heart all Summer!!!!

Congrats....with that Devil goatee, you can work in some alternative used vinyl records shop...or get some piercings and be the guy that hangs around the tatoo parlor.

I wish you both the best Seattle has to offer~

Congrats.....
Rev, my company has a couple stores in the area, and I'm good friends with the staff up there, so I may be able to arrange some hook ups.....what industry do you need contacts in?

Well bro, I hate to see you go... (sniff sniff...), but I guess it's all for the best. Tell Mrs. Rev... CONGRADULATIONS!!! She's got to be one hell of a woman to drag you along with her. C'mon, I mean... Seattle? You guys are going to love it I think. When I graduated from college, that was my first choice of places to settle down, but once I found out how much it rains there... well.. uhhh... let's just say Louisiana didn't look sooooooo bad after all. I'm still trying to find another job, but haven't been having any luck. I have FAITH though. Answer me this one question Rev: "If I moved to Seattle, could I come shack-up with ya and da missus?

Thanks folks! I'm really excited about this - it'll be a nice step up for me, with a good company... and into a new and exciting part of the country! I was so happy when I got the offer that i couldn't stop smiling all day! I still find myself grinning randomly. Now... if we can just keep our stress levels controlled while we try to sell this house, buy a new one, and move all our belongings COMPLETELY accross the country... we'll be all right!
smile.gif

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Mrs. Rev....very happy to know you're movin' on up! Rev-meister: Best of luck, bro!

Come to think of it, let me talk to one of my boys up there. He just moved there about three years ago...stays around the Lake Sammamish (sp?) area. I'll ask him to talk to his girlie - she's really into the stuffs on real-estate.

Oh yeah...and great news: I'l lbe headin up to the Seattle area perhaps next year to visit him. Looks like I'm makin me another stop.

Nice going Mrs. Rev. Glad to see another Busa family come over to the correct coast. Rev (my son) (remember pics long ago?) now that you will be close to Cali hope you can make some of the events here. And Washington is not that far from here either. Maybe oyster run? Congrats again.

Ya know, I just might aim for a more "Artistic" job this time. Hell I could really get into growing some hair again... He he... you think the devil Goat is strange...

Tbone, I appreciate it, I am a graphics guy by trade, But I've been doing mostly assorted government type work for the last four years. I am pretty sure I will have all the contacts I will need, but I find out tomorrow at 0930 just how good of contacts I have. So I will see how things start off.

PACMAN, I'll be upset if you don't look me up and gimmie a shout. You know I'll still be around here, hell Geography matters little to the web. We are looking primarily North of Seattle, South of Everett and east to about Snohomish. So sort of the Edmonds, Lynnwood, Mill Creek, Mt. Lake Terrace, Kenmore, Brier, Bothell, Etc. WE Might even look at The City itself depending on where I end up employeed...
smile.gif

Flrider, Sage, I would say that US1 will be calling my name that's for sure. I dunno about Laguna this year though I would certainly love to be there but it is going to depend on the new job/business. I may not be able to get the time needed...

Hell Maybe I will just remain un-employeed and relax for awhile....
cool.gif
I dunno, not likely... But I will be running along the coast and exploring... I gotta go Harrass a couple folks in Oregon anyway...

Congratulations Mrs Rev.....looking forward to meeting you one day when yer settled in.
Quick question.....you two ready for the crappy winters and wet Northwest weather.....guess you'll be happy to be away from the storms though....eh....I mean hey??
