Well it's Official... You North-West Folks

Was in Seattle this weekend for the bike show...saw Cookie, Dwayne (forgot his bd name), and Epicrisis.

See you when you get out here Rev. You will love the Summer. There will be a lot going on, so get ready. Havoc is planning a big trip in WA and ID in June (I think). Moto GP is in July, Swan will have some events in Vancouver BC.

If you are interested in a club, we do have a chapter in Seattle area, so let me know.

Later,
Greg

Definitely don't want to stay in downtown seattle or condo it, just way too much (time in traffic and $)! Gold Bar is pretty booring and not much to look at, I think the shock of just seeing a Busa could be too much for them. Marysville is pretty close although either way your gonna catch the traffic in Everett which can't be painfull too. Awesome rides out here weather permitting, too many to list. Good luck and let us know when your in town and ready for a ride! Knowing this state that should be sometime around oh I don't know...April?

Nice, I think the Tulip thing could be very cool, and If I actually have somewhere to ride TOO, then it makes it easier to throw the wife on the back and head out. Sounds like your a serious fan of the area, you should head out there, be a tour guide.

The Run down to Columbia could be cool too gotta visit Cache, I think he's right around there, then come Laguna time maybe I can head ALL THE WAY down the coast... Swing by Thinker, and the rest on the way...

It don't get any f**king better than that.

You are in heaven.

Wow Babuski... are you sure you don't work for the Washington Visitor's Bureua? Great info! I'm really looking forward to it - I'm really excited

Congrats Ms. Revlis and Rev! It will be a difficult time trying to take care of all the details, but it sounds like you all will have a great time and enjoy the future. I am extremely happy for the both of you!

Mrs. Revlis.....or should I say the lovely and charming Ms. Silver?

Don't work for the bureau...but I should do tours...I have done about 100 seminars in Seattle, Vancouver, Portland, SanFran, Calgary and fell in love with that corner of the world. I have since returned to those general areas and other nearby regions...like lake louise, San Juan Islands, Mt. Hood etc etc etc....as soon as the EMU guy you are married to broke the news, my brain just started rattling off all these places you folks can go to. I can plan a lifetime of vacations in that region of N. America. In fact, I have a top five list for you and that husband of yours....

and once you folks are settled in, it should be skagit valley festival time.....and you can do a romantic weekend or day in LaConner.

But, before you leave this earth and I hope that isn't for a long long time...you must go to:

1) Lake Louise and the Canadian Rockies (one of the most beautiful places on earth) and the general area of Banff. You must stay at the Chateau Lake Louise....make that spouse spend some money!!!

2) Whistler Mountain...north of Vancouver (watch the traffic....construction for 2010 Olympics is underway)

3) Columbia River area
4) Mt. Ranier area
5) Mt Hood Area
6) Oregon coast line.
7) Mt. Baker area and Cascade mountains..
8) San Juan Islands very Anacortes Ferry
9) Vancouver Island (don't bring the busa)..go see buchart gardens.

10) Olympia National Park area.....

plus there is a ton of stuff to do in the Washington state area besides seattle, Mt Ranier, La Conner...etc...etc....

congrats on the job.... keep us posted....

S**T.....I almost forgot....Alaska ain't even that far from Seattle. But the road doesn't go all the way up. Rev will have to put wings on the midnight falcon and fly you two up to Juneau.....but there are a bazillion cruise ships that leave from Seattle and Vancouver.

Do I sound excited?

OK Cool Man, So Gold Bar isn't a NO GO because of the Commute per say, but mostly cause it's a little hole in the wall in the woods??? That is actually kind of what we are after. I'm thinking 5 acres, large shop out behind the house, maybe a horse or two down the road?

I hear ya regarding the downtown Condo thing. Besides, I really need a garage at least to tinker in and I don't imagine Oxy Acetlyn goes over big in a high rise...

Most likely though we are going to be looking at Lynwood, Edmonds, Brier, Kenmoore, Bothell, Mountlake Terrace, Forest Lake, Mill Creek etc. Right around there, Closer to the mountains the better I think, give me an after work escape route if possible.

April sounds about right, I need to get my gear sorted. I try heading out in my current gear and I will most certainly be suffering from Hypothermia in little time.

Thanks man....

And we all think that Revlis needs the psychotropic drugs...his wife need them too!

Just kidding.....good luck with the move. And we are all honored to have you as a groupie

Congrats Map..............wish I was edumacated...........I'd get me a nice job to!

Come on Rev...........you've always wanted to be paid for servicing the wife...........kick back and live the good life for a while.
wink.gif

I gots lots of friends up in the Seattle area......there's a center up there..........they all seem to like it.
Good luck with the move and all of the details that will surely pop up. Kisses and high fives to the wifey.

Your gonna have a blast up there,:) just watch out for the traffic nazi's. Radar, air, unmarked cars ... it's bad.

Revlis, Take a few days to scope out the entire Seattle area, you may find some 'hoods you like better. Once you narrow it down, spend the night in the area to check for low flying aircraft and freight trains. Then take a commute trip during commute hours both ways to see if it is something you can live with.

If you intend to live in the area for some years, you may want to rent first before deciding on a permanent home. The Mrs. may find out the job isn't all that.

Rev... Awesome! Now change your location dude!

Lady Rev... Congratz!

Me and the missus will see ya in June!

Good-luck,
Rip
